Court documents have confirmed that Usher and his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea were married in Las Vegas just hours after the singer’s halftime show performance during Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium. A rep for Usher told People: “We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas, surrounded by close friends and family. They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for the well wishes.”

The AP reports that the couple were married in an intimate ceremony at Vegas Weddings’ outdoor Terrace Gazebo. Melody Willis-Williams, president of Vegas Weddings, said in a statement sent to The Hollywood Reporter: “Congratulations to the Newlyweds! What a great game and Usher’s performance was phenomenal! We were beyond thrilled to host in this epic day for Usher and his new wife.”

Usher, 45, and Goicoechea have been together five years and share two young children together. In attendance at their wedding were Usher’s mother, Jonnetta Patton, and their ceremony was officiated by Rev. Ronald Joseph Polrywka — who is known locally as Elvis impersonator Ron DeCar.

This is Usher’s third marriage; he was previously married to fashion designer Tameka Foster, with whom he shares sons Usher “Cinco” Raymond V, 16, and Navid Ely, 15.  The singer was then married for three years to former manager, Grace Miguel, who he divorced in December 2018.
